Preschool Class: Clay, Wood, Metal, Glass

Thursdays in March
10:-10:40, Starting March 8th

March is preschool month at the Johnson-Humrickhouse Museum. Children 2 – 5 years are invited on Thursday mornings from 10:00 to 10:40 to learn more about the world through the museum’s collections. Clay, Wood, Metal, Glass is the topic for the month. Each week they’ll be introduced to a natural material that is used to create art or craft. We’ll begin with clay so that a ceramics project can be worked on each week. After clay children will explore wood, metal, and glass. Games, music and books will also be part of the fun.

JHM’s preschool programs are free, thanks to the support of the Coshocton Kiwanis Foundation. For more information or to say you’re coming (Reservations are appreciated.), contact the museum at 740-622-8710 or email This email address is being protected from spambots.
